Produced by passionate and creative artisans, they come from Northern Europe, Eastern Europe and the United States of America.

Rivalizing in quality and creativity, the original designs are a treat for the eyes. We could easily let ourselves go to our natural inclinations for pareidolia and see in these fascinating patterns familiar images or known forms.

Carbon damas steels: the oldest.

Born on the distant banks of the Ganges and the Indus, the ancestral wootz indian blacksmiths became damas steel by a journey without return from India to the heart of the fertile crescent of Mesopotamia.

From the city of Damascus, the wootz has taken the name to the strength of the hammers of the current Syrian blacksmiths, greatly improving aesthetics and quality.

They forged blades and jewels!

True to the old practices of the forge, today's artisans, like those of yesterday, produce carbon damas steels of all beauty and beauty exceptional finesse.

Stainless steel damas: the most resistant.

Since the manufacturing techniques have not ceased to evolve, the stainless steels are produced at the traditional forge, but also by the mysterious alchemy of the powder metallurgy which manages to offer us both fascinating motifs of remarkable finesse and considerable resistance to rust and oxidation phenomena.

Complex and original designs now decorate the blades of our knives, but also jewelry or luxurious watch cases.

The uses of stainless steel damas have no limits.

Titanium damas: the lightest.

Last born in the category titanium damas are new products from the forge Markus Balbach in Germany and Futuron Forge in the Czech Republic.

Compounds of layers of titanium of different grades, their heat treatment brings out colors iridescent and sumptuous motives.

Titanium is known for its lightness and its resistance. Its corrosion resistance is exceptional even in seawater, making it a material of choice for the advanced industry (aeronautics, marine industry or internal medical prostheses, for example).

In cutlery, titanium damas are used for making mitres, guards, inserts or other decorative parts.

The use of titanium damas in the creation of your knives is the extra lightness !

Mokume-gane: The most oriental.

Currently referred to as the generic term mokume, this material consists of successive layers of bronze, brass, copper or merchort whose final appearance is similar to traditional damas steel.

Mokume-gane is a Japanese method of metalworking that appeared in the 17th century in the Empire of the Rising Sun.

The mokume is appreciated in cutlery for its aesthetics and ease of transformation.

It is mainly used for the manufacture of mitres, inserts, guards or even sleeve pads.

Its low hardness does not allow the manufacture of blades or springs but you can entrust to the mokume all decorative parts of your knives.
